- Scope Of Work
- Manatee County seeks to obtain independent external auditing services for fiscal years ending September 30, 2026 through September 30, 2030, together with any renewal terms authorized by the solicitation and resulting agreement. The services are intended to support the annual audit of the Manatee County reporting entity and required county agencies and related reporting units, together with any applicable federal and state compliance audit work and expressly identified special reports.
The successful proposer shall be an independent certified public accounting firm licensed to practice in the State of Florida and experienced in providing annual financial audit services for Florida local governments and county constitutional officers of comparable size and complexity. The County requires timely completion of all work necessary to support financial reporting, governing-body review, and required statutory filings.
Successful Proposer shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, software, supplies, licensing, transportation, and other resources necessary to provide independent external auditing services that meet the requirements of the Agreement. Services shall include, at a minimum, annual financial statement audit services, Government Auditing Standards reporting, management letters, separate opinions or companion reports where required, applicable federal and state single-audit services, special compliance or agreed-upon-procedure services expressly required by the County, and all related coordination required for timely completion of the County’s annual reporting process.
