The Town of Plainfield, Connecticut, invites sealed proposals from qualified firearms
vendors to furnish and deliver twenty-five (25) complete Enhanced Patrol Rifle Packages
for the Plainfield Police Department. Each package shall include the specified rifle, optic,
sling, weapon-mounted light, storage bag, accessories, professional installation,
inspection, and service-ready preparation.
Sealed proposals must be received by the Finance Department at Plainfield Town Hall, 8
Community Avenue, Plainfield, Connecticut 06374, no later than 12:00 P.M. on
Thursday, August 27, 2026. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered
and will be returned unopened. Proposals will be publicly opened and read at that time.
Following the proposal opening, proposals shall remain valid and may not be withdrawn
for a period of sixty (60) calendar days.
Each package shall include one Colt Enhanced Patrol Rifle II PRO with an 11.5-inch barrel, one Aimpoint PRO optic, one Magpul MS1 two-point sling, two GrovTec Push-Button sling swivels, one Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 1 weapon-mounted light, one Savior Equipment 36-inch American Classic Tactical Double Rifle Bag, all necessary mounts, hardware, batteries, switches, and attachment components, professional installation by a qualified gunsmith or manufacturer-certified armorer, a complete safety and function inspection, and all required documentation, certifications, warranties, and firearm-transfer processing.
