2027-026M26- Upgrade Heat Plant Controls Systems, Building 3
The A/E team will design the replacement of the heat plant's outdated supervisory controls and PLC systems, which operate on obsolete operating systems (Windows XP and Windows 10). The project includes upgrading three OS systems, all boiler control, coal, soot blower and ash programmable logic controls systems to the most current operating and software system, and includes three new control software programs and four computer hardware systems. The work will require reprogramming the entire heat plant control system and substantial field service to ensure complete integration without interruptions. The A/E is expected to provide Basic Services as described in the sample Architect/Engineer/Consultant Agreement, participate in meetings and briefings, and comply with all state approved codes and protocols.
