Colorado Health Systems Directory (CHSD)
The goal of the project is to determine where health professional workforce shortages exist in the state and direct practice incentives to those areas of the state determined to have a shortage. To plan for existing and future health professional workforce needs in Colorado and statutory requirements, the Colorado Health Systems Directory (CHSD) provides needed and accurate data about where clinicians practice, how they practice, and how much patient care they provide. This project also serves to aggregate information on clinicians and systems from multiple public and proprietary data sources, match the information to data in the system, standardize information, and apply an algorithm to determine current information for clinicians and systems. The single point of contact is Allan Smith. Allan.smith@state.co.us
