Pre-Bid Conference: A MANDATORY pre-submission conference will be held on September 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Ferne Clyffe State Park, 90 Office Drive, Goreville, IL, 62939. Meeting will be held at the pavilion located in the parking lot of the Park.
The vendor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials required to remove the existing three (3) step assemblies and construct three (3) new sets of steps using treated lumber. The work includes installing concrete footings, treated 6 x 6 wood posts, step stringers and treads, platform landings, approach landings, and wood side railings. The vendor will also install water bar/step assemblies at ten (10) locations, with an additional option to install fifteen (15) more. The project is located within the Round Bluff Nature Preserve, a 53-acre natural area, and access is limited to small equipment using existing trails. The vendor is responsible for public safety barricades, demolition, and project cleanup.
