Pest Control Z0101 Springfield

The vendor shall implement an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program for the premises at Z0101, 2200 S. Dirksen Parkway, Springfield, IL 62703. Services include suppressing indoor populations of rodents, insects, arachnids, and other arthropods; outdoor populations of potentially indoor-infesting species within property boundaries; nests of stinging insects; and incidental invaders. Excluded pests (birds, bats, snakes, termites, wood-destroying organisms, mosquitoes, outdoor vegetation feeders) are covered only as individual instances under special/emergency requests. The vendor must use non-pesticide methods (e.g., vacuums, trapping) as standard, apply insecticides only as crack-and-crevice treatments unless exceptional circumstances are approved, and use bait formulations for cockroach and ant control. Rodent control inside buildings shall use trapping devices; rodenticides require CMS Facility Manager approval and must be placed in tamper-resistant bait boxes. The vendor must conduct an initial building inspection within ten working days, submit a Pest Control Plan within five business days thereafter, and provide monthly invoicing, reporting, and a close-out report within 90 days of contract expiration. The vendor must designate a contact person, maintain all required pesticide applicator licenses, and ensure personnel wear distinctive uniforms and comply with security and safety requirements.
