The Alaska Railroad Corp. (ARRC) is requesting contractor support for fencing work within its Right-Of-Way (ROW) between DOT Seward Highway MP 90-99 (ARRC MP 74.7-84). The ARRC is fencing in two turnout locations to prevent trespassing onto the railroad tracks to the Bird-to-Gird Trail.

Pre-Bid/Site Visit: A non-mandatory site visit will be held on September 15, 2026, at 11:00 am. Meeting location will be the turn-out at MP 92.5 of the Seward Highway.

Contractors shall provide 6’ tall chain link fencing (in accordance with section 607 of the ARRC SSC) installation for the reduction of trespassing at two areas located within the Municipality of Anchorage at Seward Highway MP 91.5 (ARRC MP 76.2) and MP 92.1 (ARRC MP 76.9). The work includes mobilization and demobilization, coordination with ARRC for daily operations and track outages, and adherence to ARRC Standard Specifications for Construction – 2025 Edition.
