Summary: This Request for Proposal (RFP) is intended to result in a contract for statewide support services that promote successful community reintegration, improve health and behavioral health outcomes, and reduce recidivism among individuals returning from incarceration.

The successful contractor will provide statewide reentry support services for individuals returning to Alaska communities following incarceration, with a primary focus in Anchorage. The contractor will coordinate with the Department of Corrections, the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority, Tribal organizations, community providers, and other partners to assist reentrants in overcoming barriers to successful community reintegration. Primary areas of service include Housing Stabilization, Employment & Economic Stability, and Reentry Support Services. The contractor will provide individualized services that emphasize rapid stabilization following release from incarceration, including immediate transitional housing, employment assistance, and linkages to community-based supports. Approximately five hundred reentrants are expected to be served annually under this contract.
