The State of Alaska, Department of Fish and Game, has issued the attached request for information (RFI) to potential bidders who may be interested in providing desired information and participate in a FY27 RV Medeia Shipyard Services Invitation to Bid (ITB) solicitation.

The scope of work includes dry docking, power washing the hull, sea chest and valve inspection, zinc replacement, rudder removal and inspection, painting (keel to waterline, freeboard, mast, deck, shaft tubes, stuffing boxes, rudder post tubes, tiller arms), propeller and tail shaft inspection, replacement of the Walter keel cooler, replacement of a shell plate in the starboard cofferdam, servicing the Marine Sanitation Device System (MSDS), ultrasonic thickness testing, crane static load test, clad welding, replacement of a nipple on the port keel cooler vent, replacement of the radar, insulation resistance (Megger) testing, inspection of ballast tanks, and installation of Cadyma knife cutters.
