Amendment No. 1 revises the proposal due date to August 14, 2026, at 4:00 PM Central Time and adds a Site Visit for Offeror(s) on August 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM Central Time. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged.
FFDG is seeking qualified contractors to provide bulk propane supply and related services for multiple Fermilab locations in Batavia, Illinois. Services include propane delivery, storage tank installation and removal, and maintenance support on supplier-owned equipment, provided on both scheduled and as-needed basis. The resulting subcontract will include a base period with optional extension years. Pricing will be based on an indexed propane market rate plus a fixed distribution component. Estimated usage is provided for planning purposes only and actual requirements may vary.
The offeror shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, storage tanks, regulators, transportation, and services necessary to provide bulk propane delivery, tank installation, tank removal, and associated maintenance to various Fermilab locations. Services include delivery of bulk propane on a 'keep full' basis, delivery upon request, installation of propane tanks and regulators, removal of tanks and associated equipment, emergency response to propane leaks or system issues, and maintenance and repair of offeror-owned tanks and regulators. All work shall comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA 29 CFR 1910.110 & 1910.153, NFPA 54 (2015), and NFPA 58 (2017) Edition. The offeror must have a representative out to Fermilab within two hours of notification of an emergency. The offeror is responsible for repairs and maintenance to the propane tank, the regulator from the tank to the gas line, and the secondary regulator from the line to the building.
