NACE FY26 HAZARDOUS TREE CYCLIC MAINTENANCE

The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and all other items necessary to coordinate and ensure quality workmanship for hazardous tree cyclic maintenance. The work includes creating clear zones, hazardous tree removal, meadow clearing, occasional storm damage, pruning, and all-around proactive tree maintenance. The contractor must provide a crew with a minimum of 5 members including 2 climbers and 3 ground workers, one of whom shall be an ISA certified arborist. The crew shall have a machine capable of moving logs and debris, a chipper capable of chipping wood materials up to 12 inches in diameter, and a suitable truck to chip into holding at least 10 cubic yards of wood chips. The contractor shall provide all tools, fuel, equipment and all ANSI and OSHA standard industry related safety gear. All pruning and tree care operations must be conducted in accordance with the most recent version of the ANSI 300 and Z133 pruning standards, ISA standards, state, local, and industry bylaws. The contractor shall remove all resulting debris from the site, except for chips which may be broadcasted beyond the mowed grass area. The base bid requires an average of ten 8-hour days per month of tree service for a period of one year from the date of award.
