Boise VA Medical Center requires Hazardous Waste disposal service IAW the Statement of Work, and Price Cost Schedule.
The contractor shall pick-up, transport, incinerate, recycle, treat, or landfill by other commercially acceptable methodology, and dispose of Hazardous Waste, Non-Hazardous Chemical Waste, Dual Medical/Chemical Waste, Universal Waste and Pharmaceutical Waste from the Boise VA Medical Center. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, and containers. Specific tasks include: segregating waste by hazard class, complying with all federal/state/local regulations for tracking and manifesting, maintaining insurance, providing HAZWOPER 40-hour trained employees, scheduling monthly pickups on the first Thursday, providing emergency response to chemical spills within 2 hours, pumping and disposing of contaminated water from the decontamination shower tank, and providing written SOPs for waste handling. The contractor must perform at least 60% of the work with its own organization.
