Federal AgencyIssuing agency·Washington, DC·via the SAM.gov Get Opportunities APIThe Government is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation, to acquire Automated Manufacturing Machines, Abrasive Waterjet Machining Center, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) managed by the Department of the Air Force, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) situated at Robins AFB, GA. The six (6) systems will be deployed to six distinct global locations (CONUS
and OCONUS) as detailed in Number 4 of this RFQ and Attachment 4. This acquisition is being conducted using the procedures of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services; and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
The contractor must furnish and deliver six CNC Abrasive Waterjet Machining Centers (part numbers 55100, 60x, 80x, 55555) including freight, specialized rigging, floor placement, ocean freight, and export crating to six locations: JBER AK, NAS JRB TX, Yokota AB JP, Davis-Monthan AFB AZ, Sheppard AFB TX, and Aviano AB IT. The waterjets must meet the Commercial Item Description (CID) A-A-60029 salient characteristics, including cutting assembly support, machine table, controller, software (2-D and 3-D functionality), pump with rebuild kits, garnet storage hopper, lathe/rotational head, cutting head, chiller system, water recycling system, garnet and solid removal system, remote keypad, water level control, and nozzle assemblies. The contractor must provide on-site training (up to 3 days for 5 technicians), a minimum 1-year warranty with OEM-certified technician service, and 3 years of technical support. Delivery is FOB Destination within 365 days ARO.
