INTENT TO SOLICIT ONLY ONE SOURCE: One (1) Benchtop Supercritical Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Reactor

The contractor must deliver one benchtop supercritical CO2 reactor with associated parts that meets salient characteristics: reactor vessel and all components in contact with reactants/solvents constructed to withstand acids at temperatures up to 180°C and pressures up to 10,000 PSI without significant corrosion; automatic control for continuous operation at temperatures up to 180°C and pressures up to 10,000 PSI; deliver and maintain supercritical CO2 at operating temperatures and pressures with automated control; supply CO2 from standard liquid CO2 tanks; deliver cosolvents into the reactor vessel with a pump; include a safety rupture disc; and have a footprint less than 3 feet x 3 feet x 4 feet. Delivery and acceptance shall be made to the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, 6300 Rodman Road, building 4600, lab 1013, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005.
