The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to implement a certified Horizontal Structured Cabling System. This includes the installation of 62 data points (Cat 6 UTP cable, patch panels, keystone jacks, wall plates, patch cords, and cable management), labeling per TIA-606-C, testing and certification of all points (Permanent Link and Channel tests with PDF reports), preparation of as-built drawings and technical reports, and removal of all previously installed cabling. The work must comply with ANSI/TIA standards and BICSI best practices. The contractor must coordinate to avoid service interruptions and schedule maintenance windows with the IT department.
