THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT FOR REQUEST FOR QUOTE. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 140P6426Q0119 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) for HVAC Replacement services at Bent¿s Old Fort National Historic Site (BEOL).

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to demolish existing HVAC equipment, recover refrigerant per EPA requirements, and install new units of equal or greater efficiency and capacity. Work includes reconnecting to existing ductwork, electrical, and gas piping, replacing thermostats, performing system start-up and verification testing, providing O&M manuals, and conducting a two-hour on-site training session for park staff. Specific tasks include replacing three natural gas-fired furnace units and two ground-mounted air conditioning units at the Administrative Building, and two wall-mounted packaged air conditioning units at the Curatorial Building. The contractor must coordinate work with limited access and special occupancy requirements, ensure equipment replacement phasing with a maximum 48-hour downtime for the Bally Building, and maintain at least one functional system at all times.
