**SITE VISIT NOTIFICATION: **A site visit has been scheduled for Monday, August 3, 2026 at 10:00am Eastern time at the FDA facility located at 8401 Muirkirk Road, MOD 2, Laurel MD 20708. All interested quoters must submit the names of their attendees to the Contracting Officer via email at suzanne.martella@fda.hhs.gov no later than 07/31/2026 at 2:00 pm Central time to secure security clearance. Attendees must present a valid government-issued photo ID at the facility security desk. Technical questions arising from the site visit must be submitted in writing no later than 08/12/2026 at 2pm Central time to ensure a formal administrative response.
Original Posting (07/24/2026): See attached RFQ for 1,500-gallon liquid nitrogen tank and vaporizer lease + Liquid Nitrogen refill agreement for the FDA in Laurel MD.
The contractor shall lease and install a 1,500-gallon liquid nitrogen tank and a 5,000 CFH ambient air vaporizer on the existing concrete pad at the FDA facility, provide liquid nitrogen refills on an as-needed basis (estimated 2,600 gallons/month), maintain telemetry monitoring to ensure the tank never falls below a 10-day reserve, provide Certificates of Analysis with each delivery, and execute a seamless transition from the incumbent contractor including disconnection and removal of the existing tank. The contractor must maintain fleet and production plant redundancy to ensure uninterrupted delivery.
