The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit is requesting quotations for exterior painting of the Dolley Madison House located at the Markey National Court Complex at 717 Madison Place NW, Washington, DC, 20439.

Site Visit
A site visit for this project is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2nd at 2PM in the Markey building lobby (717 Madison Pl NW, Washington, DC 20439). Please contact Pamela Patrick (patrickp@cafc.uscourts.gov) for more information.
The contractor shall refresh finishes of the exterior of the Dolley Madison House, including preparation of surfaces and painting of all currently painted exterior surfaces. The base bid includes painting all currently painted exterior surfaces. Add Alternate One includes refurbishing and repairing windows. The contractor shall coordinate work and gain approvals with the Court Contracting Office and COR/PM. The contractor is responsible for obtaining necessary licenses and permits, and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations. The contractor shall also be responsible for relocating any electrical and/or mechanical building system components necessary to perform the work. The building is to remain fully operational throughout the project with no disruption to tenant operations. All work areas must be cleaned at the end of every workday. The contractor shall employ adequate dust control and floor finish protection measures. The contractor shall provide one unopened container of each wall or surface finish for attic stock.
