Replace Cast Iron Fittings 676-23-009

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to remove and replace existing cast iron or malleable/ductile iron fittings, valves, steam traps, steam pressure safety valves, and steam pressure reducing valves on any steam system over 15 psi or condensate systems at a temperature over 257°F. The work includes demolition and new installation across multiple buildings and phases, including crawl spaces, basements, mechanical rooms, attics, and exterior trenches and manholes. The contractor must maintain hospital operations 24/7, coordinate utility interruptions, and comply with infection control, safety, and security requirements. The project includes base bid and alternate bid items, and all work must be completed within 420 calendar days after notice to proceed.
