THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS SEEKING PROPOSALS FOR AVAILABLE COMMERCIAL OFFICE SPACE FOR LEASE OR FOR SALE IN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. All AFP responses must be submitted via email to hq-realestate@mail.nasa.gov no later than 5:00 pm Eastern Time on August 28, 2026; late submissions will not be accepted or reviewed. Each building should limit itself to one (1) response that includes all options available, and building tours may be scheduled after a review of the AFP response.

NASA Headquarters currently occupies approximately 450,000 rentable square feet (RSF) of leased office space at 300 E Street SW, Washington, DC with a lease expiration date of August 2028. NASA is currently seeking a building with no less than 225,000 Rentable Square Feet (RSF) and 200 parking spaces for occupancy prior to its current lease expiration. This AFP is being issued to obtain offers from building owners and authorized representatives that are interested in proposing acquisition options within the District of Columbia.
