Repair Quarters 1 - Driveways and Sidewalks

The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and material to repair the driveways and sidewalks at Quarters 1, located on the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. The work includes removal of existing HMA and PCC driveway and sidewalk pavement, clearing and grubbing vegetation, removing flag posts, handholes, landscape block walls, water valves, sprinkler systems, chain-link railing, and portions of Durnin Avenue. New work includes installing reinforced PCC driveways (east entrance, driveway circle, south entrance, and along the south side of Quarters 1), a new PCC parking lot, PCC sidewalks (6-inch depth, dark gray with London Cobble Stone stamped pattern), new flag posts, a new storm sewer system with structures and pipes, connection of existing roof drains to the new storm sewer, a new 1-inch PEX water service line, new electrical lighting with poles and fixtures, new signage for handicap stalls, landscaping with topsoil and hydro seeding, and all associated grading, subbase, and geogrid installation. The project shall be constructed in accordance with the 2026 SUDAS specifications.
