RFQ NARRATIVE
The Bureau of Land Management requests quotation for 24 pre-fabricated Steel Pavilions pursuant to the specifications. The resultant order will be for a firm-fixed-price contract type. This RFQ is issued pursuant to the procedures of FAR Parts 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services.

The contractor must manufacture, supply, and deliver pre-fabricated steel picnic shelters to two locations: 24 each 10'x10' all-steel square hip roof shelters to the Rob Jaggers Campground in Fort Stanton, NM, and 1 each 20'x20' and 4 each 16'x16' all-steel square hip roof shelters to the Datil Well Campground in Socorro, NM. The contractor is responsible for providing engineered drawings sealed by a licensed engineer, foundation/footing designs, all structural members meeting ASTM standards, installation hardware, anchor bolts, and powder-coated steel members. The contractor must also provide a color chart for final approval, a warranty (10 years for the 10'x10' shelters, 5 years for the others), and bear all transportation/freight costs. BLM is responsible for offloading at the Socorro delivery, while the contractor is responsible for offloading at the Fort Stanton delivery.
