Forest Wide Well Decom

The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, materials, equipment, vehicles, tools, parts, labor, transportation, lodging, and miscellaneous items to abandon wells across the Prescott National Forest and close septic tanks per ADWR Well Abandonment Handbook and Arizona Administrative Code requirements. The base bid covers mobilization plus abandonment of ten specific wells/shafts (eight ADWR-listed wells and two non-ADWR shafts including Wilhoit Well Shaft and Tonto Springs Cistern), while option items cover five additional well abandonments, one contingent well abandonment, and closure of two septic tanks (including pumping at Tonto Springs). Work includes breaking apart and removing concrete, filling voids with earthen or grout material per ADWR standard/alternative abandonment methods, removing well casings, pumps, and plumbing fixtures, site cleanup, and submission of required documentation such as construction schedules, driller qualifications, and DWR completion reports.
