The U.S. Embassy Singapore intends to issue a solicitation for a professional inspection and assessment of the roof truss system at a U.S. Government-owned residence in Singapore. The solicitation will include the complete scope of work, submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and applicable terms and conditions.
The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price contract. The Government may award the contract based on initial proposals without conducting discussions.

Prospective offerors are encouraged to begin the registration process early because registration may take several weeks to complete. Because contract performance will take place in Singapore, the contractor, including any subcontractor or joint venture partner that will perform the work, must be legally authorized to operate and do business in Singapore and must possess all licenses, permits, registrations, and professional qualifications required to perform the work. The contractor must comply with all applicable Singapore laws and regulations throughout contract performance.
The solicitation will include DOSAR clause 652.242-73, Authorization and Performance (AUG 1999). The apparent successful offeror shall provide evidence of the required authorizations, licenses, permits, registrations, and professional qualifications upon request by the Contracting Officer and before contract award.
All responsible sources may submit a proposal in accordance with the solicitation, which the Government will consider.
