A site visit is required before submitting any proposal or quote. The site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, at 10:00am EDT at NRL. All visitors must notify NRL Contracts at least 2 days prior to the scheduled visit. If you are unable to attend on this date, another date may be requested, although the requested date/time may not be available. No change to the response date and time specified above will be granted based on an inability to visit NRL on the planned site visit day. The contractor must demolish three existing exterior metal stair sets with porch roofs at NRL Building A59, then design and build new steel stairs and stair roofs in their place. Work includes providing shop drawings, foundation drawings, and miscellaneous accessories drawings; coordinating a kick-off meeting within two weeks of award; providing a project schedule within three weeks of award; testing for asbestos/lead containing materials; obtaining all required permits; and submitting operations and maintenance data and closeout submittals. The contractor must also provide an Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) for each definable feature of work and comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local safety and environmental regulations.
