Project 619A4-23-105 - Renovate Building 10

The contractor must furnish all supervision, labor, tools, hardware, equipment, safety, protection, drawing, rigging, commissioning, site visit and materials necessary for a complete renovation of Building 10. The work includes abatement of all hazardous materials, demolition of all existing utilities, finishes, fixtures, interior walls, floors, lighting, electrical distribution, HVAC equipment, fire/alarm systems, IT, and plumbing systems. The renovation includes removal and replacement of the building's structure, including floor and roof slabs and the roof assembly, while shoring up and retaining the exterior masonry walls. All windows and exterior doors will be replaced. The exterior front entrance porch and stairs will be removed and replaced with a porch reflecting the original design, and canopies will be added over entry doors at the east and west wings. The project also includes adding an elevator and new stairwells to meet current accessibility and exiting requirements, repainting concrete sills and banding, repointing brick veneer, and replacing copper gutters and downspouts tied into new storm water lines. The contractor is responsible for correct disposal of all materials and must coordinate disruptions with the COR.
