notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being
requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
(ii) The solicitation number is 75N98026Q01145. This solicitation is issued as a competitive
combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services. The
Government intends to award a contract or purchase order resulting from this solicitation
using full and open competition.
This acquisition is conducted under the authority of FAR 12.603, Streamlined Solicitation
for Commercial Products or Commercial Services, and is not expected to exceed the
simplified acquisition threshold.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director, Office of Acquisitions, seeks
to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to the responsible offeror whose proposal
represents the best value to the Government.
(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect
through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01, effective 03/13/2026.
(iv) The associated NAICS code is 334516 ¿ Analytical Laboratory Instrument
Manufacturing, and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees.

(v) Description of Requirement:
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) requires the following commercially
available laboratory equipment to support research on hematopoietic stem cell (HSC)-
targeted lipid nanoparticle (LNP) gene delivery for the advancement of in vivo gene therapy.
Offerors shall provide equipment meeting or exceeding the salient characteristics below.
The contractor must provide an Ignite+ Upgrade Kit (quantity 1) that installs on an existing Ignite platform to enable higher-throughput LNP formulation, an AKTA flux S Semi-Automated Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) System (quantity 1) for larger-scale purification of LNPs, and a VIA Freeze Duo Controlled Rate Freezer (quantity 1) for cryopreservation of human CD34+ HSCs and LNPs. Each item must meet or exceed the specified salient characteristics including dimensions, weight, power requirements, and environmental conditions. The Ignite+ Upgrade Kit must be compatible with and installable on the Government's currently owned Ignite device. Delivery is to 9000 Rockville Pike, Bldg. 10, Room 8N110, Bethesda, MD 20892 as soon as possible after award.
