CARD will use these reagents to study the molecular differences and similarities between Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia with Lewy bodies and neurologically normal individuals. This spatial analysis will allow us to see which parts of the brain are affected and examine how things are dysregulated in different diseases. This may contribute to identifying therapeutic genes and pathways that can be targeted to improve symptoms and disease states.

The contractor must provide GEM-X Epi Multiome kits, GEM-X Universal 3' Gene Expression v4 kits, Dual Index Kit TT Set A, Dual Index Kit TS Set A (96 rxn), several Chromium GEM-X Single Cell 3' Chip Kit v4 (4 chips), GEM-X Flex v2 Human (384 samples), GEM-X Flex Gel Bead & Library Kit v2 (4 rxn), GEM-X Flex Gene Expression Chip Kit (4 chips), GEM-X Universal 3' Gene Expression v4 (48 samples), and shipping per the exact item descriptions. The kits must enable high-throughput single-cell epigenomic profiling, contain sample multiplexing indexes, be compatible with 10x Genomics Chromium X and Chromium iX instruments, use GEM technology and generate sequencing-ready libraries. All deliverables shall be packaged, marked and shipped in accordance with Government specifications, marked with contract number & Contractor name and delivered in immediate usable and acceptable condition.
