This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation is in the attachments section. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 212319—Other Crushed and Broken Stone Mining and Quarrying. The small business size standard is 550 Employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 3820—Mining, Rock Drilling, Earth Boring, and Related Equipment. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the Indian Springs Pit Rock Crushing Project. The work includes mobilizing to the site, crushing and stockpiling 7,000 tons of Aggregate Surface Course Gradation F (Pay Item 30110) and 2,000 tons of Aggregate Base Course Gradation W (Pay Item 30101), and performing all associated pit development, excavation, and site restoration as required by the contract, plans, and specifications. The project is located west of Riggins, Idaho, on the Salmon River Ranger District.
