CHANGE: The new meeting point is 26705 E. 68th Ave, Denver, CO 80249, where there is a sign indicating the "Visitors Lot." From there, an escort will take participants to the actual tower site located at 9800 Peña Blvd. A site visit is scheduled for 2 September 2026 at 9:30 am Local Time. At least two (2) day prior, provide the Names of the individuals that will be attending to Ben Bramley, at Ben.Bramley@faa.gov, Office (303) 342-1331, Mobile (720) 940-5666.

AMENDMENT 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to include the Trip Plan and the Drawings for information only.
Offers must acknowledge receipt of all amendments prior to the hour and date specified in the solicitation or as amended, by completing Items 8 and 15 of the attached Amendment and returning a copy with your offer or by acknowledging receipt of this amendment in block 19 of the submitted offer.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing Screening Information Request (SIR) Number 697DCK-26-R-00391 Reattach Electrical Conduit, Denver Air Traffic Control Tower (DEN ATCT), 9800 Peña Blvd, Denver, CO 80249 in accordance with the attached Request for Proposal (RFP).
The project duration is 65 calendar days from the receipt of the Notice to Proceed, covering only on-site work and consisting of five work phases.
The monetary magnitude is less than $100,000.00.
SITE VISIT
Please see RFP Section L - INSTRUCTIONS, CONDITIONS, AND NOTICES TO OFFERORS Provision 3.2.2.3-63 SITE VISIT (CONSTRUCTION) (JUL 2024). The FAA urges and expects offerors to inspect the site where the work will be performed**. A site visit is scheduled for 2 September 2026 at 9:30 am Local Time. At least two (2) day prior, provide the Names of the individuals that will be attending to Ben Bramley, at Office (303) 342-1331 Mobile (720) 940-5666,** Ben.Bramley@faa.gov**.** Information provided at this site visit, as well as answers to questions will not change/qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. Terms remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. ATTENDANCE AT THE SITE VISIT IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.

NOTICE
The FAA has been exempted from several Federal laws and regulations as part of the 1996 DOT Appropriations Act. Some of the exemptions include the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994, the Small Business Act, the Competition in Contracting Act, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The FAA’s Acquisition Management System (AMS), which became effective on April 1, 1996, is utilized in place of the FAR.

The contractor must furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision to perform a diagnostic inspection, risk assessment, and reattachment of electrical conduit at the FAA Denver Air Traffic Control Tower (DEN ATCT), 9800 Peña Blvd, Denver, CO 80249. The work includes a site survey and confined space evaluation, diagnostic inspection using Tier 1 (energized/non-intrusive) and potentially Tier 2 (de-energized) methods, development of a Work Method Plan with PE-stamped load calculations, and physical reattachment of the conduit runs to independent supports. The project is divided into five phases: Site Survey and Confined Space Evaluation, Diagnostic Inspection and Risk Assessment, FAA/Technical Operations Review, Reattachment Work Execution, and Closeout. The work is performed in a confined crawl space accessed via a 30" x 30" portal.
