This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 532412 The small business size standard is $40M This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
If submitting a quote, complete blocks 17a, 30a-30c on page 1 and all highlighted fields in the entire solicitation. Return the entire completed solicitation document, with a Detailed Company Quote that addresses that the product your company provides can meet the minimum specifications listed in Schedule of Items of this solicitation. Include a specification sheet/brochure of the product used in the quote.
The contractor must provide two rubber tracked diesel skid steers meeting minimum specifications (95 HP or greater, lift capacity >3,000 lbs., 2022 model or newer, joystick controls, etc.) for a 12-month rental period beginning September 1, 2026. The equipment will be used to pile eastern red cedar trees on over 2,500 acres of cedar-encroached grasslands in the Nebraska Sandhills. The government will operate the equipment; the contractor is responsible for delivery to and pickup from the Bessey Ranger District in Halsey, NE. Expected usage is 300–600 hours per year, not to exceed ~10 hours per day.
