(ii) The solicitation number is 75N98026Q01131 and the solicitation is issued as a Notice of Intent (NOI) of a non-competitive (notice of intent) combined synopsis solicitation to award a contract or purchase order without providing for full or open competition (including brand-name).
This acquisition is conducted under the authority of the FAR Part 12.603 Streamlined solicitation for commercial products or commercial services, and is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold, and the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 and the statutory authority of FAR 6.302-3(a)(2)(ii).
The contractor shall provide service coverage for the BD FACSymphony A5 and S6 Cell Sorter including parts, labor and travel for remedial repair; 2 Preventative Maintenance Inspections per twelve-month period; 2 Preventative Maintenance Kits; Software Revisions released during the period of performance; unlimited service visits Monday-Friday; 48 hour-guaranteed response to a request for emergency on-site service Monday-Friday; unlimited telephone support for instruments, reagents, and applications at no additional charge. Workstation printers are not covered. The contractor shall provide all necessary parts and equipment necessary to perform repair and planned maintenance.
