Solicitation number 1240LT26Q0171 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Soap Creek West Bank, Gunnison Ranger District Repairs. This project involves repairing approximately 200 ft. of the west bank of Soap Creek adjacent to sites #11 and #12 in Soap Creek Campground on the Gunnison Ranger District. The stream work will include hardening the banks with imported riprap, installing one rock stream barb, five root wads, and planting willows. See attached for further details.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 237990. The small business size standard is $45 million dollars. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
The project involves repairing approximately 200 ft of the west bank of Soap Creek. Work includes hardening the banks with imported riprap, installing one rock stream barb, five root wads, and planting willows. Additional tasks include hauling and stockpiling material, bank stabilization with placement and compaction of blended riprap, rockery, and fines, collection and installation of government-furnished root wads, reseeding and revegetation with willow plugs and cuttings, construction of a stream barb, excavation and removal of waste material, decommissioning staging areas, and mobilization. The contractor must also provide traffic control and dewatering/sediment control plans.
