The 97th Contracting Squadron, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for acquisition of an Explosive/Narcotic Detection Workstation to support Security Forces Operations at Altus AFB, Oklahoma.

The contractor must provide a Handheld X-Ray Imager (Explosive/Narcotic Detection Workstation) meeting minimum salient characteristics including Ion Trap Mobility Spectrometer (ITMS) detector technology, trace detection of explosives and narcotics, surface wipe sample acquisition, 8-second analysis time, nonradioactive ionization source, automated internal calibration, advanced software algorithms, 10.4-inch TFT-LCD monitor, 256 GB solid-state storage, Linux or equivalent embedded OS, USB 2.0 and Ethernet ports, external AC-to-DC power supply, battery backup up to 60 minutes, operating temperature range 14 to 131°F, portable ergonomic desktop design, sample wand, desorber design, remote monitoring capability, and regenerative dryer. The workstation is to be delivered to 97 SFS SFT SFS RA, 110 N 6TH ST BLDG 130 ALTUS AFB, OK 73523.
